We’ve seen quirkier Airbnb listings before, but a new “Netflix and Chill” themed apartment in New York City might be the most interesting take on apartment rentals we’ve seen yet.

Put together by ART404 and noted internet prankster Tom Galle, the “room is designed and equipped to experience “Netflix & Chill” the best way possible”.
Now, in New York’s West Village, fans of seamless media consumption paired with romantic entanglement can rent the rooms for $400 (£288) a night to live out the ultimate Netflix and Chill fantasy.
The project only lasts a couple of months so call your boo and book your stay ASAP to get the ideal “Netflix and chill” experience!
The idea came from Tom Galle, a 31-year-old who works in advertising, Moises Sanabria, a 25-year-old artist, and Alyssa Davis, a 26-year-old engineer at Art404 (a New York-based art company).
And, yes, you can buy your own, slightly less official, slightly more unsure, Netflix and Chill? bedding online.
It also boasts a HD projector connected with the new AppleTV and Netflix account, with remote controllers for both and surround sound speakers around the bed.
The large bed is covered with custom-made Netflix sheets, which cost Galle $100 to make, he said.
“We just think it’s a special experience that should only be shared between two people”, Davis explained.
He concluded that he likes to Netflix and Chill to Making a Murderer.

The apartment had been listed on Airbnb before its transformation, but cost about $150 less since it didn’t provide the unique theme it now does.
