This US Democrat mimicked Donald Trump and drove Twitter insane

Yet the threat of Trump hasn’t led to an open embrace of Kaine by liberals, who had pined for Clinton to select Massachusetts Sen. “Folks, you can not believe one word that comes out of Donald Trump’s mouth”.

“We all should feel the Bern and we all should not want to get burned by the other guy”, Kaine said, to cheers.

“If you don’t know there’s 50 states and New Jersey and Virginia are different, and you’re trying to run for president and learn that on the fly, Lord help you”, Kaine told Muir in an interview airing Thursday on World News Tonight.

While Kaine has said he considers himself “boring,” Twitter users seemed to find him far from that, especially during his Donald Trump impression.

“It is a great country and you’ve just made it a lot greater”, Kaine told Clinton, the Virginia senator recounted Friday morning on CNN’s “New Day”.

Kaine used Spanish to talk to the crowd and described Clinton as “listo”, or prepared. “These are the battles I’ve been fighting my entire life”.

“I don’t have a sense of humor about cyberterrorism”, Kaine said.

There are those who’ve been skeptical of the Virginia senator’s ability to do combat with the outspoken real estate billionaire, who relishes publicly sparring with his opponents, as well as the Republican vice presidential nominee, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence.

In the ticket’s debut on Saturday in Miami, Kaine previewed the frame he’ll use to define Trump, saying he would amount to a “you’re fired”, “me-first” and “trash talker” president.

The speech was to come on the third night of a Democratic convention that has moved steadily from a scene of raucous division to a display of party unity and enthusiasm for its presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

“So, do you believe him?”

Much of Kaine’s speech was autobiographical, tracing his life from his birth in the Midwest, through volunteer work with Jesuit missionaries in Central America and years as a civil rights lawyer before starting his career in politics as a member of the Richmond, Va., City Council. “She’s ready because she knows in America we are stronger together”, she said”, he said.

Clinton, he said, is ready, consistent and delivers. Top Clinton ally Terry McAuliffe also suggested Clinton would eventually pass the trade deal as well, comments the Clinton campaign disputed.

Vouching for Clinton wasn’t Kaine’s only job during his star turn at the Wells Fargo Center. “She’s ready because of her faith”.

Mixed into a largely biographical address created to introduce the little-known Kaine to the American public was a testimony to Clinton’s character, including what poll after poll shows is her biggest weakness: what American’s make of her honesty.
