This Was the Most Heartbreaking ‘Game of Thrones’ Death Yet
As for next week, it looks like Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) will finally have his moment of reckoning with High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce) – just as Margaery (Natalie Dormer) is set to take her Walk of Shame. The Children of the Forest were being wiped out in Westeros by the invading First Men. And that man’s name is Hodor. “Game of Thrones” Season 6, episode 5 has a enough time for a fun scene where Tormund tries to get Brienne’s attention, but she appears disgusted by his advances.

Bran’s screen time consisted of several dream sequences including watching the first white walker being created by one of the Children of the Forest.
Later Bran has another visision, an army of the dead led by the ruler of the White Walkers, the Night’s King. I have no doubt, but at the very least he gave her info on her uncle, The Blackfish-if you don’t remember him, you’re probably not the only one, we haven’t seen him in quite some time. Unlike the humans in Bran’s many visions, the Night King seems to be aware of Bran’s presence and touches him, marking him.
“Game of Thrones” viewers are howling about last night’s shocking death. There’s a door, and Meera, Bran and Hodor make it outside and close it on the wights. This confrontation didn’t hold a candle, though, to seeing Bran (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) come face-to-face with the Night’s King and his White Walker army.
It might get even more uncomfortable if they start asking about her own family… In the future, Hodor is being told to “hold the door” to give Bran a chance to escape the undead army.
And in the past, Wylis’ was rocked, lost in a seizure, and he repeated Meera’s words over and over, until “Hold the door” simply morphed into “Hodor”. Eventually the phrase gets boiled down. “I can still feel it”, she says of the sexual assault to which she was subjected. Meera is yelling, “Hold the door!”. Poor Hodor. His entire life was completely ruined by Bran’s presence in the past so he could sacrifice his life in the future.
Now that Dany has conquered all of the Dothrakis, it’s time to march back to Meereen. She orders him to find a cure for the greyscale and to come back when he’s less yucky. After last week, I’m thinking “hells yes, she’s in and going places”, but this week she’s back to getting the shit knocked out of her.
Our only experience with a red priestess has so far been with Melissandre, but it looks as if we are about to meet another with the same power. One thing that spoiled their reunion was Ramsay’s letter threatening Rickon Stark’s life if Jon did not return Sansa to Winterfell. She reprimanded him for leaving her with the Boltons and encouraging her to marry Ramsay.
Other, less interesting storylines include Daenerys’ (Emilia Clarke) forgiveness of Jorah (Iain Glenn), and Arya’s (Maisie Williams) continued training montage in Bravos.
The theater performs a play that mocks Ned Stark and Joffrey. Neither of them, it’s safe to assume, have much hope of this happening, but it’s a way for them to cement their mutual love and loyalty in the face of impossible odds.
For four seasons she was associated with nothing but bad people. She’s tasked to kill an older actress in a theater troupe. Some are skeptical, but they seem more OK with it when Theon endorses his sister. Yara and Theon escape the island during Euron’s initiation. He gets scared but before he can make a run for it, the Night’s King is in front of him and latches onto his arm.

Unless they have some kind of brilliant game plan of rescuing Margaery before the The Faith chops her to pieces, we may be seeing the last of the new Queen. Surely the Mother of Dragons is going to have a say in that? No matter, Euron ordered his new subjects to go home and get working.
