Dr Gill Richardson, Director of Public Health at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, said: “The flu vaccination can prevent serious illness and is safe and effective”. The flu is a respiratory illness caused by viruses. The suit also states that state legislatures have been considering adding the flu shot to the required vaccinations list, but have continuously voted against it.
