Rio de Janeiro: International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach said problems facing the Rio Olympics are not unique to these Games and he is confident that Rio will solve all of the problems.
The governing body for each sport is to check athletes, who can also appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (ICAS).
Chiller, however, feels Australian athletes should avoid getting distracted by the Russian doping situation when they are in Rio.
The IOC executive board decided last Sunday not to ban the entire Russian Olympic team from the games.
Russia’s eight-member weightlifting team was kicked out of the games on Friday for what the worldwide federation called “extremely shocking” doping results that brought the sport into “disrepute”.
World Anti-Doping Agency (Wada) president Craig Reedie, who is also an International Olympic Committee vice-president, is to give a report on the agency’s activities on Saturday.
“I call on the world to observe the Olympic Truce by ceasing all hostilities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games to be held in Rio de Janeiro”, he said on Friday.
Lobintsev and USA -based Morozov, were part of Russia’s bronze-medal winning 4x100m freestyle team at London 2012, while Lobintsev also won a silver medal in the 4x200m freestyle relay at Beijing 2008.
Kovacs, who also won 40 medals in world championships, including 30 golds, had a daughter in 2014 and said she wanted to spend more time with her family.
Sports minister Vitaly Mutko has signalled legal action over the WADA report.
On Wednesday, the International Triathlon Union gave the all-clear to the six Russian triathletes and the International Fencing Federation approved Russia’s 16-member fencing team.
“The samples collected in Rio will at some point be tested for gene doping (after the games), but we have a principle, we will not put in place a test that hasn’t actually been used yet by a WADA-accredited laboratory”, Budgett said in a phone interview.
Igor Kazikov told state-owned television channel on Friday that every member of the team who had arrived by Thursday has already been tested for doping at least once.

Stepanova had asked to compete not on Russia’s behalf, but as a neutral, stateless athlete; officials said no because she had a past drug violation. I wish to emphasise that the IP [Independent Person] is not a Results Management Authority as defined by the World Anti-Doping Code and that I did not attempt to conduct a Results Management investigation with respect to individual Russian athletes. Any Olympic Games could have challenges.
