Evan Turner. He came off the bench with 13 points and seven assists and led an aggressive approach that featured three reserves joining all five Celtics’ starters in double figures.

It’s not unusual for Jared Sullinger to get “Good luck” messages via social media before games.

If you were up late enough last night and were paying attention to any post game reactions, you would’ve noticed a lot of players citing effort, or lack there of, and the mentioning of a “killer instinct” that the Bulls may or may not have at this point in the year. After an even first quarter, the Bulls were able to fight for the lead in the second, and went into the half leading, 54-51.

Jimmy Butler isn’t far behind Gasol in terms of who has been the best for the Bulls this season as he has a 20.5 PER.

“Everybody in the league’s talking about Golden State”.

“I thought we did a tremendous job on focusing on the game in front of us and we’ve been doing that all year”, Sullinger told reporters before looking ahead to the Warriors contest.

Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg changed his starters, inserting Taj Gibson for Nikola Mirotic at power forward.

“I think that’s who we have to be”, Stevens said.

Both the Celtics and the Bulls rank in the top 10 of points given up and this is the kind of game that they Celtics will need to win through hustle and additional opportunities.

Before we get to the National Basketball Association teams that have 60 or more wins in a season, let’s set the standard a little higher and talk about teams with 66 or more wins in a season.

The Bulls closed within three with 3 minutes left, but five straight points by Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas brought the lead back to eight.

Thomas was 9 of 13 from the floor and hit all four 3-point attempts to shoot better than 50 percent for the second time in three games Monday, when he scored all but three of his 22 points in the first half.

“I didn’t know he could get up like that, honestly”, Thomas said. Redick, who averaged 24 points in two games against the Bucks last season, once again torched his former team, scoring 15 points in the third quarter.

“The biggest thing for me is ending on the note that I did past year winning a championship”, Lee said Wednesday.

Fans around Boston have been buzzing about the Warriors’ visit since Golden State ensured its unblemished record would be intact with Tuesday’s win over the Indiana Pacers. “Because if we get over there and try to get too excited, they’re just going to blow us out”. And, more than anything, I just feel like the confidence level is high and they’re all on the same pulling in the same direction. “We keep talking about it, yadda, yadda, yadda, but eventually we’re going to have to fix it or we’re going to keep finding ourselves on the losing end of ball games”.
