Curry, the league’s leading scorer, finished with 29 points, 10 assists, seven rebounds and three three-pointers, tying Rashard Lewis’ NBA record of 87 consecutive road games with at least one basket from beyond the arc.

Paul George finished with 33 points, eight rebounds and six assists while C.J. Miles added 24 points – not enough to prevent the Pacers from losing their third in a row.

Tuesday’s eight-point margin was not a true reflection of proceedings after the Warriors led 111-83 at the start of the final quarter in Indianapolis.

Curry called Thompson’s first half unbelievable.

Ian Mahinmi, Chase Budinger, and Jordan Hill were the most efficient players for IN while guys like Rodney Stuckey, George Hill, and Solomon Hill just couldn’t get it going.

Klay Thompson has himself a game in Indiana. All together, for the first three quarters, the Warriors found themselves in an upward spiral of selfless efficiency – with each adjustment resulting in better looks.

With all eyes on the Los Angeles Lakers’ 33-game win streak, it seems apparent that Golden State is content to take things one game at a time, as they work toward another championship.

The Warriors remained unscathed after its games against the Pacers and the Raptors, which are the best teams (record-wise) that they’ll face before they play the Cleveland Cavaliers on Christmas Day.

Before this National Basketball Association season began, the reigning champion Golden State Warriors were not the favorite to win another title – they weren’t even projected to win the Western Conference.

Steve Aschburner, NBA.com: No NBA star makes me think of Malcolm Gladwell’s “Outliers” theory more than Curry. He doesn’t have the speed to beat defenders to a spot, he doesn’t out-muscle opponents to create separation, yet look how often he gets free on the perimeter and how much he gets into the lane.

KLAY THOMPSON WAS in inspired form against the Indiana Pacers last night for the remarkable Golden State Warriors.

Joe Johnson scored 15 of his 22 points during the fourth quarter as the Brooklyn Nets held on for a 110-105 victory over the Houston Rockets. The Warriors have been a great bet away from home, covering the spread in 10 of their 13 games on the road this season.

Was Thompson simply warming up to the grind of another 82 games after playing into June? Some of that could be due to what happened on Tuesday night, where the Warriors open up a big lead and cruise to the finish, but it is a troubling statistic regardless.

“Our guys were locked in”, Warriors interim coach Luke Walton said. “We’re not the Golden State Warriors”, said George. They were stifled by the LeBron James-led Miami Heat and then some internal chemistry disruption. They protected the ball like the Hope Diamond and gave the Warriors no opportunities to run out for easy buckets.
