Though far from pretty, Ravens off to best start in 7 years
Cleveland Browns third-round quarterback Cody Kessler will start Week 3 against the Miami Dolphins, reports ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

A new quarterback may be headed the Browns’ way, after two of the team’s starting quarterbacks went down to injuries in the first two weeks of the season.
Robert Griffin III and Josh McCown are both dealing with injuries – with RG3 on injured reserve – leaving rookie Cody Kessler as the only healthy option on the roster.
It might be time to pull that infamous Cleveland Browns quarterback jersey out of the attic again. What really happens to the Browns if they win three or four games and end up with the second or third pick as opposed to just losing them all? He twice warmed up on the sideline Sunday, but McCown stayed on the field, exhibiting toughness that wasn’t lost on his coaches or teammates.
“Here we go. We’ll see what that statement was all about”, Jackson said.
“Yeah, that is kind of I guess what the National Football League is”, Kessler said to reporters on Monday.
“Well, you’re going to trust me this weekend”, he said. It was an opportunity to buy low on a guy who once put up one of the best rookie seasons of all time, while also providing the rest of us with the innate comedy that would come attached with RGIII playing for the Browns. I know this much: “we will do anything and everything we need to do on offense to fill a team and a unit that can go out there and play”.
“Here we go”, Jackson said. “That’s something that I’ve always done, even back in high school or going to USC when I wasn’t the starter there”. I respect that the game takes a lot.
“Sometimes it doesn’t matter if you’re ready or not”, Jackson said.
