Thousands of Ontarians still without power after severe thunderstorm
The national weather agency also warned that severe thunderstorms could produce tornadoes.

Toronto Hydro says it hopes to have power restored to those customers by around 11:15 p.m. or sooner.
The storm brought heavy rain, hail and in a few areas, brought down trees and flooded streets. In the Orillia space, over 16 hundred clients are with out power.
A severe weather system through southwest and southern Ontario knocked out power to almost 50,000 Hydro One customers Sunday.
Crews were sent to assess damage from fallen trees and hydro lines and begin repairs that went throughout the evening and into the early morning hours.
Environment Canada meteorologist Tony Cham told The Canadian Press there were reports of roofs that were caved in due to falling trees in the Wingham area, located north of Stratford, Ont.

While the OPP said officers received reports of a funnel cloud touching down near the Town of Shelburne in Dufferin County, Ashton said Environment Canada has not confirmed those accounts.
