Junagadh: Unidentified assailants barged into the Junagadh office of leading Gujarati daily Jai Hind on Monday night and stabbed to death its bureau chief Kishore Dave, police said.
He was found with multiple stab wounds and was apparently alone in the office at that time.
Three people have been arrested in connection with a journalist’s murder in Gujarat’s Junagadh district. “From injury marks, it appears that personal enmity could be a reason behind the murder”, Jajadiya said.
The journalist’s family say that the politician’s son, a local doctor named Bhavesh Suraj, held Mr Dave responsible after a few local papers wrote about a case of alleged sexual harassment involving him.
Dave’s brother has reportedly lodged an FIR against the politician’s son. Dave was charged with a case of cyber crime following publication of report.

A case has been registered against unidentified assailants at Junagadh B division police station.
