Three Dead, Man in Custody After Shooting at Colorado Planned
The utterance would appear to reference the controversy surrounding the organisation’s health services, which include abortion, and its role in delivering foetal tissue to medical researchers.

The dead policeman was identified as Mr Garrett Swasey, 44, a campus officer at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, who had raced to the scene of the shooting.
After the suspected shooter entered the Planned Parenthood clinic Friday, he engaged in a standoff with police that lasted for hours, authorities said.
Shortly after the media reports, attorney-general Loretta E Lynch released a statement in which she condemned the shooting.
“This unconscionable attack was not only a crime against the Colorado Springs community, but a crime against women receiving healthcare services at Planned Parenthood, law enforcement seeking to protect and serve, and other innocent people”.
A security source in north Mali who wished to remain anonymous said the Kidal camp had received a warning two days before the attack from an unnamed jihadist group. Owens, who lives in Georgetown County in SC, said Dear “had a big bark” and had been rough on his sister.
Law enforcement officials have not disclosed what motivated the attack.
Obama called once more for stricter gun controls.
“This is not normal”.
“We have to do something about the easy accessibility of weapons of war on our streets to people who have no business wielding them”, he said.
“We don’t yet know the full circumstances and motives behind this criminal action, and we don’t yet know if Planned Parenthood was in fact the target of this attack”.
Those critics, many of whom seek to outlaw abortion in the United States, have falsely accused Planned Parenthood of selling fetal organs and body parts for profit, and encouraging women to have abortions in order to expand such operations.
Mayor John Suthers paid tribute to police for hauling in the gunman without further bloodshed at the Planned Parenthood building, where people scrambled into a “safe room” for cover.
At least eight workers at clinics providing abortions have been killed since 1977, according to the National Abortion Federation – most recently in 2009, when doctor George Tiller was shot to death at church in Wichita, Kansas.
Records show Dear purchased the property in Hartsel about a year ago.
According to the Post and Courier, Dear has a history of domestic violence, disputes with neighbors and animal cruelty in SC.
“While this was a awful, terrible tragedy, it could have been much worse if not for the reactions of first responders”, Mr Sutter told reporters.
President Obama was notified of the situation Friday.

“Blown away”, Post said. “When I came in, they weren’t aware of anything until they heard the gunshots and me identify that there was a gunman on site”. Activists noted that a white gunman suspected of shooting several police officers was taken into custody and not killed.
