“I opened the door and this gentleman nearly fell on me, so I sort of carried him half into the living room and he fell down on the floor ” the man said Friday. A local resident who do not wish to be named said a man sought for help to call 911. My brother is bleeding in the driveway. “Make sure the police come and find my mom”, the neighbour told CTV Toronto. “But there was too much blood, I couldn’t see”.
The two men and a woman were pronounced dead. She previously co-owned the home with William Ryan, who records show died previous year. Ryan, whose had previous convictions for bank robbery and other offences, appeared briefly in court this morning.
Police have confirmed that a Toronto man facing murder charges in Thursday’s fatal crossbow attack was previously arrested in connection with a string of bank robberies. Or more screening on those who purchase crossbows?
They were sent to the unit by a call from one of investigators at the scene of the Scarborough crossbow deaths, Neadles said.
The National Post newspaper reported that the three victims were shot with a crossbow in the garage of a Toronto home and left to bleed out onto the driveway.
Neighbors indicate a widowed woman lived at the home with one of her sons, possibly two of them. “I was raised in this house for 22 years and nothing like this has ever happened here before”. “She would come visit from time to time”, he said.
Det. -Sgt. Mike Carbone said the building was evacuated after a package was found on an unspecified floor just after 2 p.m.
About four hours after the bodies were found Thursday, police said there was a link between the deaths and a suspicious package found in a downtown condo on Queen’s Quay.
