Three killed by crossbow in Toronto
A Toronto man linked to a string of bank robberies was charged with three counts of first-degree murder after three people were killed in a crossbow attack on a quiet suburban street, police in Canada’s largest city said on Friday. A local resident who do not wish to be named said a man sought for help to call 911.

The neighbor explained on the condition of anonymity that “I open the door and this gentleman nearly fell on me”. One man and the woman were found in a rear garage.
“He said, “Call 9-1-1, my brother is bleeding in the driveway. Make sure the police come and find my mom”, the neighbour told CTV Toronto. “I heard somebody screaming in anger and banging. But there was too much blood, I couldn’t see”.
Two men and a woman were pronounced dead at the scene. He was charged with 14 counts of robbery, 14 counts of wearing a disguise and three counts of possessing risky weapons.
So crossbows are not something somebody can kill three people at a time (with).
Police also were investigating a suspicious package that sparked fears of a bomb threat at a downtown condominium that was thought to be related to the crossbow attack, the Star said.
Police took an injured 35-year-old man into custody immediately after discovering the bodies, and on Friday announced that he had been charged with three counts of first degree murder. The names of the deceased have yet to be released but the house had been owned by William and Susan Ryan; William died two years ago but it is believed that Susan Ryan still lived in the home. “I was raised in this house for 22 years and nothing like this has ever happened here before”.
“It’s scary because this park is always full with kids”, she said.
“There is a link to that other crime scene at Queens Quay my understanding to date is that it’s been cleared at this point”, Carbone told reporters on Thursday. Although authorities say these incidents were related, no information has been given regarding the details of how the incidents are actually related.
