And, as we said earlier, we can’t argue with Chrissy’s statement. “I think paternity leave is good”.
Along these honest lines, the model spoke to Entertainment Tonight this week about life as a mother, with she and John Legend having welcomed a daughter named Luna into the world in mid-April. ‘I mean we needed a break.
“I just got the freaking update for [Instagram] the other day and I was like, ‘Wouldn’t it be cool if they. nope, no they did not.’ But I don’t feel like it would hurt them and I feel like it would only give some of us some sanity”, she said.
“It was about 9 to 10 days after or something”, she explained.
“I used to read mommy blogs like insane so I knew mommy shaming was a thing, but I didn’t think that it would come from going to dinner”.
And John, 37, stood up for his wife, taking to his own Twitter account to write: “Funny there’s no dad-shaming”.
Chrissy Teigen is the last person we’d expect to see shamed about anything.
They took grave offense at the new mom daring to go out with her husband, nine days after the birth of their first child together.
“I think happy mommy, happy daddy, happy baby”, she added.
Teigen says she may still lash out occasionally, but being a mother really does put things in perspective.
The cookbook author also hit back at her critics last month by posting a screengrab of some of the comments she received, writing: ‘I went to dinner. “People are pissed. Good morning!”

“Her eyes have uncrossed a little bit and, she’s like, now, rather than looking right through you, she looks at you, which is really nice”, she said. So it’s not that you’re not hungry, or that you want to diet – food just doesn’t cross your mind.
