Three-year-old DJ steals show on South Africa’s Got Talent

Arch Jnr (aka Oratilwe Hlongwane) is the 3-year-old Alexandra-hailing DJ who first rose to notoriety after his father began posting videos of the toddler virtuoso on YouTube in January.

Featuring on the reality talent show, the toddler is introduced to show host Tats Nkonzo who appears to be shocked that it is the youngster, not the father, preparing to showcase his talent. You can catch DJ Arch Jnr playing kids’ parties around South Africa, and generally being cooler than you can ever hope to be. [Arch Jr] enjoyed messing around on that app and just had this love for music.

The audience react by screaming excitedly and judge Lalla Hirayama gets to her feet to walk away in disbelief.

Seriously though, this kid has some skills, and by the time he’s reached the age of the person writing this post about him he’ll probably have excelled to heights far beyond those of an anonymous lonely music writer eating greek yogurt while at a standup desk.

After the performance, one of the judges, DJ Fresh said: “Golden buzzer means one thing, it means that I’m loving it so much that I want to send him straight to the semi-final”.
