Tiahleigh s foster father owned seized vehicle
A vehicle seized in the investigation into the killing of Logan schoolgirl Tiahleigh Palmer belonged to her foster carer, police have confirmed.

The foster parents, a man aged 56 and a woman aged 54, are among the four people who were taken into police custody late on Tuesday morning.
He will face the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
The two others arrested, aged 19 and 20, are believed to be related to the couple.
The wife of the murder accused and one male relative, aged 20, have also been taken into police custody.
The schoolgirl’s naked decomposing body was found on November 5, along the banks of the Pimpana River, 40 minutes away from her school.
The arrests come after homicide detectives last week seized a blue 2009 Ford Falcon XR6, which was described as a “vehicle of interest” in Tiahleigh’s murder.
Police have refused to either confirm or deny the reports. but say investigations are ongoing.
Police have confirmed all four suspects were known to one another.
The auto was no longer in his possession and police stressed the current owner was not a suspect.
The revelation that the auto was previously owned Tiahleigh’s foster father came after her biological mother, Cindy Palmer, posted about it on Facebook.
Twelve-year-oldTiahleigh Palmer went missing on October 30, 2015 after she was dropped off at school by her foster father, Rick Thornburn.
Detective Inspector Damien Hansen told the ABC the investigation had moved quickly in the past 24 hours.
Police have appealed for anyone who saw a auto matching its description on Kerkin Road North near the Pimpama River last October to come forward.
“I’d rather. Tia still be alive”, he said.

He also described the case as “one of the most hard (homicides) I’ve ever worked on”.
