– Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump will be in North Carolina Tuesday to discuss the release of his economic plan.
During a Trump appearance in March, a man in the audience hit a protester as he was being led out. A rally is scheduled for 2 p.m.at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington inside Track Coliseum.
Trump has close ties to the coast. His son, Eric, is married to Wrightsville Beach native Lara Trump.
When asked how the student organization was able to bring Trump to campus, Lewis said that he has to “defer all questions relating to the planning and organization of the event to [the presidential candidate’s] campaign”.
Shortly after this campaign, Trump will head to Fayetteville to campaign at the Crown Arena at 1960 Coliseum Drive.
