Tight Security for court appearance of Sonia, Rahul
A Delhi court last week directed Congress president Sonia Gandhi, party vice president Rahul Gandhi and five others accused in the National Herald case to appear before it on 19 December. The bail was granted on a personal surety bond of Rs 50,000 each. He posted the case for further hearing at 2 PM on February 20, next year.

With Centre allotting government accommodation to BJP leader Subramanian Swamy, who has been in the eye of the storm for his petition in the National Herald case, the Congress Party on Saturday dubbed him as the BJP and NDA’s well-paid contractual litigant. It may be recalled that former prime minister P.V. Narasimha Rao also had his court hearings in the Lakhubhai Pathak case there, for security reasons.
