Tillerson: Evidence sanctions ‘really starting to hurt’ North Korea
Trump’s tweet comes a day after, in response to the latest rhetoric of Kim, he had said he too has a nuclear button which is not only much bigger and powerful, but also works.

Lee Hee Beom said the agreement was reached at vice ministerial-level talks held at a truce village dividing the two Koreas on Wednesday, according to Yonhap News Agency.
“We’ve been very pleased that China has certainly given much fuller implementation”, he said. Even so, Trump said he was skeptical about accomplishing anything through negotiations with North Korea since past administrations failed to make substantial progress.
That tone is not uncommon for the North Korean media.
Trump said he hoped the standoff with Pyongyang could be resolved “in a peaceful way, but it’s very possible that it can’t”.
The news about the 12 defectors is not the only story about North Korea that has been making headlines.
Trump warned last summer that North Korea’s hostile threats will be met with “fire and fury”, prompting the North to threaten Guam with “enveloping fire”.
It was unclear why Trump waited until now to push back on the interview.
His comments appear to reference reports that Russian tankers have helped refuel North Korea with shipments at sea and follows allegations from U.S. officials that Russia has been lax in its implementation of UN Security Council sanctions.
US President Donald Trump outright threatened conflict as Kim repeatedly fired missiles and detonated his most powerful nuclear bomb ever.
He said he was confident the two countries would “get to that negotiating table”.
“I probably have a very good relationship with Kim Jong Un”, Trump told the Journal. It also requires oil for its intercontinental ballistic missile and nuclear program.
To combat this, Cruz called for increased economic sanctions on both North Korea and third parties, such as banks that support the country, to cut off economic support.
Most of North Korea’s trade is with China, and Rex Tillerson said anecdotal evidence and intelligence suggested China’s application of United Nations sanctions is “really starting to hurt”.

“The source of the threat to the worldwide community, the source of illegal actions, the source of the nuclearization, is North Korea”, she said.
