And now in another interview with the Irish Independent, Cook clarified that Apple won’t ever make a device which is a hybrid Mac and iPad.
While third-party options are available, this is still frustrating to many users, as the Apple Pencil was specifically designed for use with the iPad pro and offers features that third-party solutions don’t. And putting those two together would not achieve either.
Apple’s Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook recently divulged his mission to take over office PC. One thing that was missed by a lot of these reviewers was the fact that Apple has sneaked a USB 3.0 connector into iPad Pro.
Apple is marketing the iPad Pro as a tablet with a greater focus on productivity, but it wants to make it more than just a consumption device, for which it is relying on software developers.
The CEO asked: “I think if you’re looking at a PC, why would you buy a PC anymore?”
According to the American multinational technology company, iPad Pro contains the A9X chip which is faster than the 80% of PC that shipped this year.
Two years later, Cook reiterated his insights on the product category after giving his thoughts on the Microsoft Surface Book.

Cook says the iPad Pro is expected to be popular among creative people who sketch and music and movie lovers because of its sound system and powerful speakers, reports The Telegraph. Technically it is, but it is a completely different beast what with a processor that apparently rivals the MacBooks and also with support for accessories like the Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard. As for the battery, Apple claims that it can go up to 10 hours of use, which is a good thing.
