Tim Cook Wants To Assure You That Your AirPods Won’t Fall Out

In a recent interview with Good Morning America, Tim Cook expressed his excitement for augmented reality (AR) by calling it “incredibly interesting”.

Augmented reality, Cook argues, offers the possibility to deepen and expand real-world social interaction.

“Less people will be interested in that, but there are some really cool areas there for education and gaming that we have a lot of interest in”, Cook added.

Currently, Apple does not have an AR or VR product. As for the headphone jack, Cook points to the larger battery and stereo speakers as being possible because the headphone jack is gone (although the bottom left holes aren’t speakers, the second speaker is the top earpiece). Tim Cook presently holds one of the most powerful positions in tech industry and his opinion decides the direction that Apple takes in the future. “So, yes, it’s something we’re doing a lot of things on behind that curtain we talked about”, Cook told The Washington Post in August.

Speaking to ABC News, Cook, a known fitness buff, said that he uses the new Airpods while running on the treadmill and even dances with them. “It’s a great place to both charge them and keep them”, he said.

AR overlays virtual things over the immediate surroundings, combining reality with augmented versions of it. Well, in a sense, Augmented reality actually does hold more water as you can develop applications and games that superimpose digital imagery over real life videos.

Virtual reality does not depend on the real world and has been used for innovating in the media.

Regarding the AirPods, people criticizes the small devices are easy to dislodge and lose while in use. He says he’s been jogging and dancing with AirPods, and they’ve never fallen out once. He did not talk about losing the small pieces.
