Trump might have confused Kaine with former Republican New Jersey Gov.

“As a public servant, it takes real power to reconcile the beliefs that came with your upbringing to be able to reflect the needs of everyone in your community”, she said. “So I think when they compare Tim Kaine with Mike Pence and Donald Trump, there’s no comparison”. “So let’s talk about trust”.
Kaine then set into an indictment of Trump, kicking off with a “dad’s trying to be funny” impression of Trump, repeating the Trumpian refrain “believe me”.
“I thought he did a good job of outlining his experience and Secretary Clinton’s experience dealing with national affairs and worldwide affairs”, said David Bottenfield, the chair of the Staunton Democratic Committee.
He’ll be the He in the VIP box watching as She accepts the presidential nomination at the Democratic convention on Thursday. Protests briefly intensified Tuesday night when protesters sought to block an intersection near the convention headquarters at Wells Fargo Center.
But his speech had a bigger unifying theme: Kaine argued that the Democratic Party is now the true party of moral values, in contrast to a GOP led by candidate he called a “moral disaster”. Bernie Sanders, hails from next-door Vermont.
He was officially nominated as the party’s nominee after a voice vote on the floor of the convention this afternoon. “Serve one another”, said Kaine. He was well-liked, but known more for his electoral success than his legislative record.
“Hope in the face of difficulty”, the president said.
The party hasn’t responded to a request for comment from The Associated Press. Like Cuomo and numerous Catholic politicians after him (including Vice President Joe Biden), Kaine has said he is “personally opposed to abortion” but believes the law should not restrict it. Hey, Donald, what are you hiding? “Pretty simple. That’s what I’m about”.
Kaine grew up in Kansas outside Kansas City, Missouri, and attended the Jesuit-run Rockhurst High School there and graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism before taking time off from Harvard Law School to work in Honduras with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps.
Bill Clinton, utterly comfortable in his own skin, seems to be just fine with trading places with his wife, the former first lady. His turns in Spanish drew large cheers from the crowd. He was lauded for his heartfelt remarks at the memorial for the victims for the Virginia Tech tragedy.
He wasn’t able to keep up the sky-high number after that, however.
In the Fox interview he seemed to back away somewhat on saying he thought Russian Federation was behind the hack of the Democratic National Committee emails, saying “who knows who it is”.
Despite his lagging poll numbers, Kaine remained in the public eye through his role as DNC chairman. The Pacific Rim trade pact has been promoted by President Barack Obama as a way to increase USA influence in Asia and act as a counterweight to China.
He also has had his moments as a speaker.

Clinton is due to give a speech to delegates Thursday night at the grand finale of a contentious convention. The address was a pitch for comprehensive immigration reform and displayed a skill that turned out to be an important asset in the Clinton selection process.
