Tim Kaine Makes His 2016 DNC Entrance as America’s Dad
“Our nation, it is just too great to put it in the hands of a slick-talking, empty-promising, self-promoting, one-man wrecking crew”, Kaine said in a keynote speech to the Democratic Party convention in Philadelphia.

Kaine said he’s confident that his party would ultimately unite come election day and elect Clinton over Trump, the Republican presidential nominee.
“Donald still says ‘believe me.’ Believe me?”
Following a strong statement explaining why he trusted Hillary Clinton “with our son’s life”, Kaine turned to her opponent.
While many thought Hillary would pick Elizabeth Warren or Cory Booker, she selected Tim as her running mate, the quiet Senator from Virginia who’s self-described as “boring”.
Then Kaine did an interminably long and tone deaf impression of Trump saying “Huge” and “Believe me”, which at first got a very limited crowd reaction before people realized they were supposed to cheer it on.
Before he left, Kaine was invited to the Iowa State Fair and the northern Iowa Democrats’ Wing Ding fundraiser in August. Donald Trump. The guy promises a lot. “Believe me? I mean, here’s the thing, most people when they run for president, they don’t just say, believe me, they respect you enough to tell you how they will get things done”.
PHILADELPHIA ― The Democratic Party officially nominated Virginia Sen. Do you really believe him? Tim Kaine slipped into the role of attack dog-albeit an unusually friendly one.
During a recent Telemundo interview, the former Virginia governor and senator joined Clinton in assuring voters the two plan to move to implement comprehensive immigration reform within the first 100 days of a Clinton/Kaine administration.
But he spent a large portion of his address taking shots at Trump’s promises, questionable business practices and failure to release his tax returns.
“I don’t think it will have much effect [on the general election]”, said Bottenfield. Kaine said he and Clinton share a belief in serving others.

Kaine said Clinton possesses several characteristics that have prepared her to assume the mantle of the presidency.
