After the Hillary Clinton campaign claimed earlier in the week that their new vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine had changed his position on taxpayer funding for abortion, Kaine contradicted them Friday and stated that he hadn’t.

“Hillary Clinton has vast experience in governing, and trying to make sure the government solves problems and does the right things for people”, he said.
Over the course of three days, Clinton and Kaine will cover more than 600 miles across Republican-leaning Western Pennsylvania and Eastern and Central Ohio, tailed by a second bus carrying staffers, their Secret Service details and three busloads of reporters and television producers. The tour will take them through Rust Belt hubs like Pittsburgh and Youngstown.

The Clinton campaign plans to kick off next week with an organizing event in Omaha, Neb.
