Kaine, who was elected to the Senate in 2012, was also governor of Virginia and chairman of the Democratic National Committee.

“Trump has offered empty promises and divisive rhetoric”, Kaine continued.
According to the Hillary Clinton campaign website, Kaine is scheduled to appear at an event in the Dayton area on September 12.
Holton, 58, resigned as Virginia’s Secretary of Education in August after Clinton picked Kaine as her running mate.
“Donald Trump has misled the American people over and over about his position on Iraq”, Mr. Kaine said. He pointed to Trump’s repeated assertion that he was against invading Iraq, despite statements to several news outlets at the time indicating otherwise, as evidence of Trump’s untruthfulness. “But you can’t do that when you’re the president of the United States”.
Kaine’s Republican rival, Mike Pence, is expected to receive a similar classified briefing Friday, according to the same intelligence official and a source from the Trump campaign.
“On the central issue of his campaign, when he got the chance to bring it up, he choked”, Kaine said, adding that Trump treats immigrants “as a convenient scapegoat for problems he can’t solve”.
The 256-page book, named after the campaign’s slogan, “Stronger Together”, details their proposals regarding economic growth and foreign policy.
