Luis Amaro, the General Manager of the Aguilas, spoke with Yahoo Sports about offering Tim Tebow a contract. He has won two national championships with the Gators. I know baseball is a hard game, but he will either adjust and show that he is ready to play professional baseball or not. I took a pay cut to do this.

“I think we will see”, another player on the Eagles offense, Trey Burton said. “It didn’t work out here for various reasons but I have nothing but respect for the guy and I wish him nothing but great things”.

Tebow worked out in front of 48 scouts from 28 teams, according to ESPN’s Jerry Crasnick, and showed some decent power and “above-average” speed in his workout.

Giving up on his NFL dreams, college football legend Tim Tebow has turned his attention to the sport of baseball. “Knowing Tim’s passion and desire, we won’t be surprised by anything he accomplishes”.

“He was a six-tool player”, Tebow’s high school coach, Greg “Boo” Mullins, said in a 2013 interview with The Sporting News. His team made the final four of the Florida state playoffs, ESPN reported.

Yet an NL scout told USA Today, “I thought he was OK”. “I just want to be someone to pursue what I believe in, what I’m passionate about”. Rather, it’s basically to see if Tebow has something that resembles a Major League skill set.

A representative of the Heisman Trophy victor told reporters there are at least five teams who have expressed interest in him, but how far that interest goes remains unclear. “Yeah. And he knows it”, Moeller said to the publication. The plan is to get him signed to play in one of the winter leagues, which also could land the former Denver Bronco in the Arizona Fall League or in the Dominican Republic, as well as Venezuela, said Van Wagenen. There’s no way to simulate that.
