Timberwolves agree to terms with Andre Miller
Andre Miller has agreed to a contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves, according to Shams Charania of Real GM.

The Timberwolves need an experienced point guard to back up Ricky Rubio, who’s recovering from ankle surgery, and to help guide rookie Tyus Jones, the Associated Press notes.
The Timberwolves could surely use his veteran leadership off the bench.
Miller, on the other hand, is now the most durable player in the league.
The Wolves hosted Miller for a visit to the team’s facility on Wednesday. Miller is also one of the game’s great lob passers, and will have athletic young players like Andrew Wiggins, Zach LaVine, Shabazz Muhammad and Karl-Anthony Towns on the receiving end in Minnesota. “It will be an easy transition for him to a very athletic team”. To put that in perspective, Miller has played in 97.6 percent of games throughout his career and has missed just 31 games in 16 years, and some of those missed games were due to suspension. Meanwhile, Miller joins Kevin Garnett as the veteran leadership for a painfully young squad.

After getting dealt from the Denver Nuggets to the Washington Wizards during the 2013-14 season, Miller was shipped from the nation’s capital to the Sacramento Kings in exchange for Ramon Sessions at last season’s trade deadline. And Jones is a 19-year-old fresh off helping Duke to the national championship, so there is plenty of opportunity for Miller to come in and make an impact both on the court and in the locker room.
