Tina Fey, Amy Poehler Bring Sarah Palin, Hillary Clinton Back to ‘SNL’
December 21 2015ABC News source Radio (NEW YORK) – Sat. Night Live alumna Amy Poehler played dueling Hillarys with current cast member Kate McKinnon in a sketch referred to as “A Hillary Christmas” over the weekend, & Sarah Palin – a.k.a. Tina Fey – even got in on the fun.

It was a blast from the past on “Saturday Night Live”, and not just because Amy Poehler and Tina Fey were back to host… but because they brought back 2008 Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin, too. “We got the best ladies”, Fey and Poehler sang as they named their most helpful real-life acquaintances, like the soup lady who always remembers their order at the local diner, their nannies, and their gynaecologist (yes, apparently they have the same gynaecologist).
The Clinton past has a warning for 2015 Clinton. She’s up against Bernie Sanders, who she calls a “human Birkenstock”.
Upon congratulating Poehler on her first Golden Globe nomination, Fey sarcastically said: “I just want to say congratulations again to my friend Amy Poehler”. While sadly the fact Palin is no longer a contender in the upcoming US Presidential race means we haven’t heard almost as much of Fey’s Alaskan accent as in previous years, the upside is that Palin is no longer a contender in the US Presidential race.

Toward the end of the skit, Hillary 2008 pulls out her Blackberry to send an email; Hillary 2016 promptly snatches the device and breaks it. “Trust me, you’ll thank me later”, McKinnon says. But present Clinton grabs it and throws it on the ground.
