Tina Fey and Amy Poehler Host ‘SNL,’ Bringing Past Lessons
Poehler’s 2008-era Hillary paid a Christmas visit to Kate McKinnon’s present-day Hillary as the latter drifted off to sleep in her pajama pantsuit.

The dynamic duo – whose new movie “Sisters” opened in theaters this week – donned familiar costumes to reprise two of their most notable impressions from their time in the show’s cast: Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin.
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler returned to Saturday Night Live last night (December 19) to host the show they both made their names in.
“It’s not enough just to work hard, we have to be cool but tough, strong but soft, not just a sweet old lady, but a sweet old lady that says, ‘Yassss qweeen, ‘” 2015 Clinton explains to 2008 Clinton. Fey and Poehler previously starred together in the 2008 comedy film Baby Mama, while Poehler also appeared in Fey’s cult 2004 teen comedy Mean Girls.
Wearing a mixture of leather clothing and white jackets, the pair introduced us to everyone from their nannies to their gynecologist (which they share, obviously).
But Clinton of 2008 also had a stark warning for her future self: Don’t too cocky about her poll numbers. “What the heck! I landed in the bedroom of a lesbian couple!”
“I will tell you, but only if you grab onto something to brace yourself”, 2016’s Clinton said. “I heard that after you lost you had to become a secretary”. Palin reminisces about her own election, stating, “I was paired up with that cute little John McCain fella, may he rest in peace.” Ha.
