“We’ve always gone head-to-head with Call of Duty and so we’re not uncomfortable with that, and essentially we’re kinda coming from both sides now in the quarter”, he said.

EA has indicated just how soon we can expect Titanfall 2. In that context, Titanfall 2 might well be released on November 11, 2016.

Battlefield 1 is now slated to launch on October 18 for Early Enlister Edition purchasers and October 21 for everyone else.

The timeframe means that the game could be due to launch one week after Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, a similarly-themed futuristic space shooter, during the week commencing November 7.

Titanfall 2 will be releasing within a few weeks of Battlefield 1. Jorgensen said this shows the level of excitement among the people for the game, however, this does not necessarily represent future sales of the game.

“There is a very broad and diverse set of players who play games in that category who are looking to fulfil different gameplay motivations”, he said (per VideoGamer). Both of those are first-person shooters and will be targeted around the fast, action-driven shooter market, as well as the strategy-driven market in that quarter…

According to DualShockers, Jorgensen mentioned that it’ll come out “roughly three weeks from Battlefield 1”.

“World War 1, we were anxious that numerous younger consumers out there didn’t know that there was a World War 2 or Vietnam, so World War 1…” “And that’s a huge opportunity for us to be able to do a video game around”.
