Titanfall 2 will bring back Attrition mode

If gaming in 4K at 60fps is something you’re trying to achieve, Respawn is recommending an Intel Core i7-6700k or equivalent processor with 16GB of RAM, 45GB of free hard drive space, and an NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1080 8GB. To get the full 4K experience, you’ll need a top of the line system, though, with the best Intel and Nvidia have to offer.

Respawn revealed the return of Attrition in Titanfall 2 in a news post about system requirements for the game’s Windows PC version.

Titanfall 2 is still more than a month away, so you still have time to get your PC up to spec, but chances are you will not have to. Historically, “minimum specs” represented the absolute base specifications for getting the game to run. not to run it well, but to get the game to run at all.

In order to run Titanfall 2 without the game looking like a slideshow, you will need at least an Intel Core i3-6300T, 8GB of RAM and either an Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 with 2GB of RAM or an AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB. Not too shabby. “For recommended PC specs we’re aiming for details almost maxed out, 1920×1080 resolution (2560×1440 is also very playable), and again an average of 60 FPS or higher”. Things like display resolution and anti-aliasing are a given, but beyond those dials, there are a bunch of controls for different types of shadows, you can adjust the level of effects and model details, and more. Titanfall 2 is shaping up to be an enjoyable experience, but we’ll know for sure on October 28 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
