Titans bring back Marc Mariani, release Tre McBride
The Titans have shown no loyalty to the acquisitions of previous administrations when putting together this year’s roster, but they brought back a guy with roots in Tennessee. After two successful seasons, Mariani missed 2012 and 2013 due to injuries.

The Titans also announced Monday they waived wide receiver Tre McBride.
During his first stint with the Titans, Mariani finished second in the AFC in 2010 and fourth in the BFL with a 12.2 yard punt return average.
During that 2010 campaign, Mariani failed to register a single reception but returned 60 kickoffs for a total of 1,530 yards and one touchdown.
In 22 career games, Mariani started five and had 22 receptions for 300 yards, including six receptions and 80 yards in his final regular-season performance as a Bear.
