With a little more than 30 seconds to go until halftime, Carr connected with Seth Roberts on a touchdown.
In the first three quarters of the Titans’ first three games, Mariota has hit on 60 percent of his passes with one touchdown and three interceptions for a 66.0 passer rating.
According to Mercury News, the team is going through the strides to prepare him for the game, giving him limited capacity until he’s up to speed. Fortunately for the Raiders, the Titans returned the favor and Rishard Matthews dropped a third-and-6 play on Tennessee’s ensuing drive.
“We’re way better than that”, Carr said.
Furthermore, Amerson wants to get back in time to face the Titans as he had one of his best games against Tennessee past year.
After the Raiders forced a punt, they effectively went into two-minute mode.
“No I’m not”, Carrie said. The play gave control of the ball to the Raiders, who won 17-10. In fact, Walker led all tight ends in receptions while ranking fifth with 13 catches of at least 20 yards.
Colossal mixup: The final play of the first half featured stupidity all over the place.
“Hopefully we can get on a roll”, Mariota said.
“Whether it was a pick or an incompletion, especially on third down, we had a number of plays where the ball was right there and we didn’t make the plays”, coach Mike Mularkey said.
