What it adds up to is the chance for the Titans to not only improve, but actually catapult themselves into contention in a struggling division in a season where otherwise they would still be considered rebuilding.

“Those first three games is a good confidence booster for the entire team”.

“It’s still early. I’m sure that you’re aware of where it is”.

They returned to work Monday, and coach Ken Whisenhunt said it’s now a 13-game season. We didn’t know what kind of team … we were going to be, even who was going to play certain positions. We’ve also had a few tough losses that we felt like could have gone the other way.

The Buffalo Bills visit the Titans on Sunday for a 10am Pacific Time kickoff on CBS.

An injury to LeSean McCoy is one reason why the Buffalo Bills aren’t living up to lofty expectations.

The Titans’ pass rush can be a force when it plays with consistency, yet there are times when it seems like the line has checked out of the game.

“I don’t recognize that quality, I guess, because even though it’s nice to say we had a bye week and you get away from football, you find yourself thinking about it and preparing for it. I think that’s the way a lot of guys are wired”.

Marcus Mariota completed 27 of 44 passes for 367 yards and two touchdowns against two interceptions. Receivers Kendall Wright and tight end Delanie Walker have been the best options, but rookie Dorial Green-Beckham is showing signs of being a solid red-zone target. The Buffalo defense is allowing 23 points and 376.2 yards per game with six interceptions, three fumble recoveries, and seven sacks.

-RUSHING OFFENSE: B. There is no lead horse in the backfield for the Titans, but still Tennessee is 10th in the National Football League in rushing using the three-pronged attack of Bishop Sankey, Dexter McCluster and Antonio Andrews. The Titans team website says the time off was beneficial. However, he’s tossed four of each in the two losses and faces a defense that ranks sixth with an average of 308.3 yards – 194.7 through the air.

He spent time with his parents in Nashville, and went to his girlfriend’s soccer game. “We’ve shown a few good things in the first three weeks”.
