A bad week for Arsenal became worse on Wednesday night as they followed defeat to Manchester United by losing 2-1 to Swansea City.

Leicester will be more than pleased to have gained a further point on all of their league challengers, but could not have been happy with their 2-2 draw with Norwich City on Tuesday either.

It is blindingly obvious to everyone that the Arsenal players have lost something in the last couple of months.

We look back at the midweek fixtures and list out the top five passers from this game week.

While Wenger has not lifted the Premier League trophy for 12 years, his side have regularly been in title contention and have finished top four every season since he was appointed in 1996.

“We seem to enjoy coming here for whatever reason but we need points from all places now and nobody thought we would get them here”.

The English midfielder had a passing accuracy of 88% in the game against City but more than that it was his running and link up play with the rest of the team. “We were hungry and brimming with confidence that day” said Sanchez to DirectTV Sports.

When Tottenham hosts Arsenal on Saturday it will be a meeting of second and third with only three points separating.

Campbell saw a deflected shot gathered by Fabianski, but Swansea went on to level with a goal out of the blue on 32 minutes.

At the moment I am worrying about our results. “The players are very down but we have to respond”.

The former England defender went on to add that the Gunners’ recent poor form is the reason they’re playing catch-up, and it has to start with a win in the derby this weekend. “We have to come back to what we do well and do the basics”.

Leicester will be seeking three more points at Watford to continue their nearly unbelievable assault on a first ever title while Manchester City face bottom club and virtually-doomed Aston Villa at the Etihad.

“Every point or three points we get now on is massive – we are going out to win games as we should be doing but even if we win Saturday we know it is not job done”. “It is a big disappointment for us to swallow this and we need to bounce back”.
