She is reportedly asking for custody of their six children but is requesting visitation rights for Pitt.

Jolie lists the date of separation as September 15, 2016. Legal documents filed Monday cite irreconcilable differences, a source confirmed to CNN’s Brian Stelter.

The biggest A-list couple is apparently no more.

A source allegedly told them: ‘Angelina is very unhappy with the marriage and is considering splitting from Brad. Her parents, actor Jon Voight and Marcheline Bertrand, divorced when Jolie was an infant, and Jolie is twice divorced from partners Jonny Lee Miller (whom she was married to from 1996 until 1999), and Billy Bob Thornton (whom she was with from 2000-2003).

The couple met in 2004 while filming “Mr. and Mrs. Smith”, and they were married in 2014.

Jolie and Pitt has been married two years, tying the knot in August 2014 in a secret ceremony in France.

He called Jolie his “hero”, saying “she’s still here”.

Before they began filming, Jolie told the Radio Times: “It feels a little daunting”.

According to TMZ, Ange is “asking for physical custody of the couple’s six children”.

Their children include sons adopted from Cambodia and Vietnam and a daughter adopted from Ethiopia.

She is also one of the world´s most visible symbols in the battle against cancer, having undergone a double mastectomy and removal of her ovaries and fallopian tubes to prevent an aggressive form of the disease that killed her mother, grandmother and aunt.

In addition to her Oscar win, Jolie was nominated for an Academy Award for “Changeling” in 2008.

Pitt’s breakout role came in a supporting part in “Thelma & Louise” in 1991.

However, both Jolie and Pitt have continued to work as actors and producers (and, for Jolie, as a director) throughout their relationship.
