TMZ: Ezekiel Elliott visits pot shop in Seattle
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said he fully expects Romo to be ready for the season opener against the Giants on September 11.

Though Elliott reportedly did not purchase any marijuana, Dallas owner Jerry Jones is still not pleased with his rookie running back. While marijuana is legal in the state of Washington, it remains banned in the NFL.
“The NFL game is a little more different”, Elliott said.
“I just think, we, everyone had a scare”, said Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. “But it’s not good”.
It must have felt really good for Cowboys fans to see Tony Romo back in uniform and on the field for a game, a preseason game, but a game nonetheless. It’s easier to embrace contact when your offensive line allows you to get to the second level almost every run, but blasting defensive backs at every turn is also the type of mentality that translates to games that count.
Seattle was led by Russell Wilson, who threw for 192 yards and two touchdowns in the 27-17 win over Dallas.
Elliott did look worthy of the No. 4 overall pick Dallas spent to acquire him in April’s National Football League draft, compiling 48 yards on only seven carries against Seattle’s typically stout defense but his visit to the dispensary isn’t the first alleged indiscretion Elliott’s been linked to. This on top of the fact that Elliott is now under investigation by the Columbus, Ohio, district attorney’s office over an alleged domestic violence incident with an ex-girlfriend.
“I’m aware of it”. I heard the report and I would know how [Elliott] is. “We saw the same thing you saw and it looks like if anything he just landed, jammed it there”.

The Cowboys drafted the 21-year-old running back out of Ohio State with the No. 4 overall selection in this year’s NFL Draft. Elliott has denied the accusations, but he has yet to be interviewed. At the sidelines, Romo stretched by the team’s trainer and wanted to re-enter the game but Cowboys’ coach Jason Garrett decided not to bring him back.
