Today marks Beethoven’s 245th Anniversary
Google has really outdone itself with today’s Google Doodle which celebrates what would have been the 245th birthday of Ludwig Van Beethoven with the help of an incredible musical puzzle.

Though it’s unclear when Beethoven was born, But the registry of his baptism, in a Roman Catholic service at the Parish of St. Regius on 17 December 1770. Despite all of this, Beethoven’s music paved way for transition between the Classical and Romantic eras in Western music.
To commemorate the anniversary of one of the most influential composers of all time, Google have invited visitors to participate in their Doodle challenge.
Ludwig Van Beethoven is best-known compositions include 9 symphonies, 5 piano concertos, 1 violin concerto, 32 piano sonatas, 16 string quartets, his great Mass the Missa solemnis and an opera, Fidelio.
Born into a family of profession musicians, Beethoven’s father observed his talent for the piano and tried to make him a prodigy like Mozart but couldn’t succeed.
This was despite him losing his hearing in his 30s.
If you went online today, you have probably already noticed the ancients scripts that are part of the creatives of Google doodle. Short pieces of his work are featured in puzzle form and players need to swap the sheet music pieces around to put them in the right order.

The fifth symphony, Fur Elise, Moonlight Sonata and The Ninth Symphony were four of the musical compositions of Beethoven that were used in this Doodle.
