Graham wishes his son luck and talks about Josh Martin’s new role with the running backs and his confidence in the development of this Sun Devil team.

Martin, whose father competed against Todd Graham in high school football in Texas, said he’s comfortable filling Bo Graham’s shoes.

“I’ll let you guys figure that out”.

Graham was asked about the impact of losing his son on the coaching staff.

Graham said his message to his running backs after Bo Graham’s departure was similar to what he told his wide receivers when Jaelen Strong declared for the NFL draft after last season.

Martin was an offensive graduate assistant past year, where he worked with the offensive line, and has prior experience as an offensive line coach at Tarleton State University, where he played during his college days, according to his bio.

Martin said a major reason he wanted to come to ASU was because of Graham’s coaching philosophy.

Gottlieb reports Arizona State has a rule prohibiting coaches from having relationships with students, regardless of age.

Bo Graham spent time coaching at ASU, Tulsa and Pittsburgh.

“I know everything that we do, and we’re ready to roll”, he said.

One thing Graham has up his sleeve for the future of his program is a very talented freshman class. Running back Nick Ralston, defensive lineman JoJo Wicker and defensive back Kareem Orr were among some of the standouts the head coach mentioned.
