Todd Gurley gets first team work
“I thought Aaron played as good a game since he’s been here”. Just to name a few reasons: the Rams won against division rival Seattle Seahawks on Sunday after a huge comeback occurred in the closing seconds of the fourth quarter.

Mason missed the opener and the final preseason game with a hamstring injury.
“Yeah, man, I wake up hyped”, Gurley said. “I wasn’t 100 percent”. I was pretty close. “I felt like it was a smart decision to sit out so I don’t miss more time”. He might be able to play Sunday against Washington. With Cunningham, starting, that also kept him from returning kickoffs. Isaiah Pead contributed three yards on two tries.
St. Louis Rams running back Todd Gurley could make his debut this week, as he has not been ruled out for Sunday.
Gurley is still recovering from and ACL tear he suffered last season while playing at Georgia. It would appear his patience is paying off. Week 2, however, may see the Rams unleash their future feature back. Fisher also said that Gurley has been receiving reps with the first team offense and that he knows what to do.
“We’ll see”, Gurley said after practice.
EARTH CITY, Mo. – The St. Louis Rams stable of running backs continued to move closer to full strength Wednesday when running back Tre Mason was a full participant in practice. Roberson was more than capable against Seattle, and shouldn’t be looked upon as a weak link heading into Washington.
DE Eugene Sims registered the sixth sack of the game by the Rams on the next-to-last play of regulation, but had to be helped off the field with an injury to his right knee.
Mason worked out for the coaching staff and trainers before last week’s game but wasn’t quite ready to go.

The general outline of how the Rams would deal with Gurley’s rehab and return to game action was spelled out after they drafted him, so nothing that has happened so far has come as a surprise.
