While Sarah Palin has been an advocate for the GOP frontrunner, it seems she may have to step away from her duties of supporting Trump in person!

Sarah Palin, the former Alaska governor, showed up at a Trump rally in Tampa Bay, Florida, after his campaign had said earlier Monday that she was returning home to be with her husband.

“And the media, bein’ on the thugs’ side – what the heck are you guys thinkin’, media?”

Todd Palin is a veteran participant in Alaska’s 2,000-mile Iron Dog race involving snowmobiles that takes place each February, according to the race’s website.

No other details on her husband’s condition have been made available. “Heidi and I will be keeping him and the entire Palin family in our thoughts and prayers”, Mr Cruz said on Twitter.

The news came after Trump’s campaign abruptly announced the cancellation of the Palin event in The Villages, Florida, just minutes before it was scheduled to start at noon.
