Tom Brady, NFLPA Lose Petition For Full Second Circuit Review

The New England Patriots quarterback’s plea to have his case reheard by the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals was denied Wednesday, but the four-time Super Bowl champion reportedly isn’t ready to accept his punishment.

Now, officially Brady and the National Football League Player’s Association haven’t made the call on what to do next, but really there are just two options. 1.

Undoubtedly we’ll now hear from legions of Brady supporters urging him to take his case all the way to the Supreme Court.
But don’t be fooled. “We have a broken system that must be fixed”.

But NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell had that decision over-ruled in the off-season.

Brady had said that it was his practice to destroy his phone and SIM cards whenever he got a replacement phone. I’ve been playing against him every year. By adding Olson to their legal team, Brady and the union added a former US Solicitor General who is best known for successfully arguing before the US Supreme Court on behalf of George W. Bush in Bush v. Gore, which resolved the contested 2000 presidential election.

Tom Brady’s chances at overturning his four-game suspension continue to diminish.

Brady’s suspension stems from his alleged involvement in the Deflategate scandal that occurred during the 2015 AFC championship game between the Patriots and Indianapolis Colts. But the court interpreted Article 46 of the CBA as granting Goodell wide-ranging powers to punish integrity-of-the-game matters and decide all appeals.

“I hate that Brady’s not going to be there”, said Dareus in an appearance on NFL Total Access. However, after the case was turned over to the federal court, Judge Richard Berman removed Brady’s suspension due to legal deficiencies. Brady stands to lose nearly $2 million in lost salary during the suspension. But court could hear a case late in the season or in the playoffs.

If you’re keeping count, and I am, this is Brady’s fifth judgement on the subject of his ordering a couple of yokels to deflate footballs in order to get a perceived competitive advantage. The Bills defensive tackle would rather Brady played and beat him than pick up a victory over the Patriots without the superstar quarterback.

Third-year backup Jimmy Garoppolo is expected to be New England’s starting quarterback in Brady’s absence.

Team is fined, Brady is suspended four games. They are on a task to win a Super Bowl that they didn’t win last ear, and they need their prominent leader, Brady in the game.

“If we win, all right, we win”. I know all the guys.
