Tom Brady on going undefeated: ‘furthest thing from anybody’s mind’

If the Patriots lay another 52-7 whipping on the Redskins like they did in 2007, it would not surprise me or anyone else in New England.

An undrafted rookie out of the University of Georgia, Andrews has made a strong impression since joining the team in the spring, and due to an injury suffered by second-year center Bryan Stork in training camp, Andrews has been handed the reins at the center position.

On the topic of trying to continue, because it is almost impossible to stop, tight end Rob Gronkowski, Gruden did not commit to automatically doubling the Pro Bowler because “who will cover Edelman”. That being said, Brady might be the Patriots’ best offensive lineman, and that’s not a typo. I just had to bring my playbook to the meetings – that was as much as I had to do right that year.

“He’s done exceptionally well”, QB Tom Brady raved.

Like all great champions, from Ali to Bird to Jordan, the Patriots feed off every perceived slight – or, in this case, a major scandal in which they were charged with intentionally deflating footballs used in last season’s AFC championship game. They trailed the Jets 20-16 in the fourth quarter, but Brady threw a pair of touchdown passes to pull out a 30-23 victory. The running game is often an afterthought, but QB Tom Brady uses the short passing attack as a complement to the ground force. “I just go out there, work, play and that stuff will fall into place”. We’re short-term focused. Every week, you put together a different plan.

In his senior year, Garoppolo threw for more than 5,000 yards and 53 touchdowns. For the Patriots, a trap game is a win that wasn’t as one-sided as expected and might expose their flaws. They are coming off their best performance of the season, and opposing quarterback Kirk Cousin’s has more turnovers than touchdowns.

The New England Patriots quarterback showed up to a press conference today clean-shaven for the first time in months.

It’s not out of the question that the Patriots could go undefeated.

There’s no doubt the Patriots are a stellar team.

Vinnie Iyer(Sporting News) ranks them 1st: Thanks to Tom Brady playing out of his mind, body and soul again and Bill Belichick having the same old soundbite, the incumbents have proved again there are no term limits for their dynasty. Majority are dominant receivers on short and/or intermediate routes, all of them can create yards after the catch and all of them understand how to get open against certain kinds of defenses.
