Tom Brady speaks out on allegations against Manning: ‘I fully support Peyton’
The Al Jazeera reporter behind a documentary probing doping in global sports, that accused Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning and other top athletes of using human growth hormone, defended the story in an interview with MSNBC on Monday.

Peyton Manning said a report by Al Jazeera that suggests he used performance-enhancing drugs was “completely fabricated, complete trash, garbage”.
“We’re not making the allegation against Peyton Manning”, Davies said, sounding surprised that anyone would possibly think that a documentary which has a man on hidden camera saying growth hormone was sent to Ashley Manning would in any way lead to a conclusion about Peyton Manning.
Manning said this week he had “never heard of (Sly) up until this report”.
Dale Guyer of the Guyer Institute said in a statement that Sly had a “brief three-month internship” there in 2013, “during which time Peyton was not even being treated or present in the office”, Guyer said.
It doesn’t mean that the allegations made by Sly when he didn’t know he was being recorded are accurate, but it’s a bright-line contention on which Al Jazeera is clearly right, and Guyer is clearly wrong. “And to insinuate anything otherwise is a complete and total joke, it’s defamation and it really ticks me off”, Manning told ESPN. “It never happened. Never”.
“I have a lot of personal thoughts that really are personal to me”, Brady said on WEEI’s Dennis & Callahan Show this morning.
“Let’s make it clear what the allegation is”, Davies said.
There is nothing in the documentary other than Dr. Sly’s statement during the hidden camera interview implying Manning took HGH or any other banned substance. And over the years, he’s a guy I can always count on and someone who’s always been so supportive of me. “I can say with absolute certainty that they are not”.
Manning joined the Broncos in 2012 and had a record-setting run, going 47-15 until he tore the plantar fascia in his left foot on November 15.
“We are not alleging that in the program”, Davies said.
Tom Brady and Peyton Manning may be rivals on the field, but the Patriots quarterback is showing his support for his “good friend” off the field amidst his latest controversy. “That whole character and that father-and-husband mentality is very important to me”.
For now, it seems as if Al Jazeera’s report is pretty sensational when it comes to Peyton Manning, though it does shed light into the world of illegal PED dealing in sports, and indisputably incriminates one Major League Baseball athlete.

“The statements on any recordings or any communications that Al-Jazeera plans to air are absolutely false and incorrect”, Mr. Sly said on YouTube. “I’ve got some built-up anger as you might understand”, Manning said.
