Tom Brady talks Deflategate, Jimmy G, and his newest equipment ‘controversy’
“I think the system can always be improved”, Brady said.

Brady certainly fought his suspension as strongly as he could, short of trying to take it to the Supreme Court, and the Patriots organization, not to mention the team’s fan base, strenuously supported him.
“I have great respect for the guys that fought to stand up for the rights of the players, just as myself and certain players did in 2011”, he said on the program.
Add Bob Costas to the list of people that seem to have realized that, even if you think Tom Brady is 100% guilty in the comedy of errors known as Deflategate, the NFL’s punishment clearly didn’t fit the crime.
After all, Brady knows just how much you can suffer when you put unfettered power in the hands of one person. Yet that doesn’t mean he wants any other National Football League player to go through such a drawn-out saga ever again.
Brady also was asked about his helmet not having an National Football League decal on it during the two preseason games in which he played, which sparked speculation that perhaps he removed it. I just hope the helmet is functional.
It is not a surprise with the Patriots being out several key players including Tom Brady.
“No, I didn’t”, Brady responded when asked if he removed the logo. He also told Gray he’s “excited” to see how his backup Jimmy Garoppolo “makes the most of his opportunity”. I want all the players on our team to do great. “I think they both were similar sizes, arm strength, very accurate”. Palmer’s towering stupidity and intentional obtuseness is what we are going to hear from every player asked about Brady’s persecution. Sometimes when you’re not out there, you gain a different perspective, and you gain maybe more appreciation for what you do. “I hope not. Again, it’s something that … That’s what I’m looking forward to figuring out”.

As for his decision not to pursue further legal action against the National Football League, which Brady previously addressed, he told Gray, “I owe my teammates to be the best that I can be, and to have this divided attention that I had at different points last season was something that didn’t really serve me”.
