The alpha test gives access to PvE and PvP modes, and will shut down on Saturday, December 12. However, not everyone will be able to participate in the event. Players who pre-ordered the game for the Xbox One are the ones qualified to take part in the alpha test. According to the same Tech Times report, the alpha requires a lot of space because of the 23.2 GB download. All feedbacks will be shared on a private forum for the alpha testers only.

The company also noted that participants will be asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement before entering the alpha phase to prevent the leakage of details regarding the game. It serves as an important opportunity to make sure that the game is balanced and that the servers are tested to pave the way for a smooth launch.

The beta for Tom Clancy’s The Division will now be taking place in “early 2016”, Ubisoft has confirmed, rather than this month, which comes as sad news for some. Looking at the video, it seems like the game is going to sport a third person shooter perspective, something like Uncharted perhaps.

Ubisoft further added, the “The Division” alpha version is to test the game’s online infrastructure and “gather feedback on everything from AI and weapon, balancing to technical performance” which will help them deliver a better gaming experience before the game releases on March 08, 2015.
