Tom Hanks, Meg Ryan reunite for her directorial debut
It seems like it’s been forever since we last saw Meg Ryan on Tom Hanks onscreen together for the THIRD time in You’ve Got Mail, but thanks to Ryan’s directorial debut, the two veteran actors will be reunited again!

Hanks, whose character is seen in flashback, stands outside his house in a hat, denim shirt, khakis and suspenders.
Meg recently told Entertainment Weekly that she couldn’t have been more thrilled to have Tom on set to support her. “He so did not have to do that”, she said. At the end of his time, he says to the crew, “All right, gather ’round”.
The trailer for “Ithaca”, a film based on William Saroyan’s 1943 novel “The Human Comedy” has been released. Seemingly pumped through Instagram’s “Oscar Bait” filter, the trailer features two minutes of gorgeous Americana rolling beneath the heart-tugging strains of John Mellencamp’s fiddle-filled original score.
Alex Neustaedter of USA’s Colony plays the boy, named Homer, who takes this work upon himself when his older brother goes off to war. His older brother after (Quaid), is overseas fighting in World War II. Instead, the drama – also starring Sam Shepard, Hamish Linklater, and Jack Quaid – follows the story of a younger brother whose sibling heads to WWII and he’s the bike messenger in his town.

Ithaca is in theaters and on demand October 9.
