Tom Hardy would be a great Wolverine: Hugh Jackman

The “X-Men” actor also told reporters present at the “Pan” press day, on how he is “pushing harder than ever before” with the third “Wolverine” film, since he wants it to be his best one yet.

Australian actor Hugh Jackman who first took up the role of Wolverine in the 2000 film X-Men has been embedded in the minds of the audience as the character.

As for the storyline, Jackman teased that the upcoming “Wolverine” movie will feature more of the quasi father-and-son relationship that his character has with Professor X (Patrick Stewart). For a franchise with plenty of things to inspire hotly debated internet minutiae and fandom infighting, the Fox X-Men movies had a couple of really inspired casting choices along the way, Jackman included.
