Tom Holland Confirms “Spider-Man” Film Shoot In Atlanta; Talks Secret Identity
Ultimately, from what Holland said, it seems that Spider-Man will side with Captain America in Civil War, joining the likes of Hawkeye, who, as we learned in Avengers: Age of Ultron, has kept and wants to keep his family secret. It stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey, Jr., Anthony Mackie, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, and Paul Rudd.

During Holland’s interview with Superhero Hype, the young actor has revealed that, in the current lineup of heroes in the MCU right now, “Spider-Man” is so far the only person with a real secret identity. But the question we haven’t really considered yet is who might swing by Tom Holland’s Spider-Man movie. During the talk, the actor confirmed that his first film as Spider-Man will indeed shoot in Atlanta. He enjoyed working here and got along great with other cast members, especially Robert Downey Jr. “We’re shooting in Atlanta for most of it, because they have studios there and I think it’s cheaper to build a NY set than it is to shoot here, because it’s going to be very expensive”, he said.
Now, you can spin this one of two ways: One, the two might be going back to Atlanta to re-shoot some scenes for Civil War, which wrapped up filming not that long ago.
Captain America: Civil War will be released on May 6, 2016. Evans responded, “I know, I’m ready, I’m ready”.
Besides that, the new Spider-Man could probably use a boost.

While another Marvel movie, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” is holding its production in Atlanta, Comic Book points out that director James Gunn has already clarified that Peter Quill will be the only human character in the film. This had media outlets speculating that the two superheroes will show up in the “Spider-Man” reboot. Part of the appeal for Sony making that deal with Marvel was to be able to have their universe intersect with the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
