Tom Holland Talks Taking Inspiration from Previous Spider-Man Films

Marvel and Sony’s big Spider-Man deal is a huge source of excitement for fans – not only are we excited about the prospect of a genuinely good Spider-Man reboot, but we’re finally going to see Spidey get in on all that sweet Avengers action. After praising Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield‘s performances, he added, “There’s factors that I love and will continue to recreate, but I think the most important thing is making a film which is with the same character, but making it different and a new and exciting movie”.

At the premiere of the Ed Sheeran’s movie, Jumpers for Goalposts, the actor was asked about a few scars on his face, to which the 19-year-old said: “No, no violence”.

“In the Heart of the Sea” star Tom Holland revealed new details on his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in “Captain America: Civil War” and the “Spider-Man 2017” reboot. Holland stated that he fell over and bashed his face in front of about two hundred crew members, but nothing serious happened about his condition since the accident. Holland answered in the affirmative and says that, “I think it’s impossible not to”. The character is set to make his MCU debut in next year’s CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, and although plenty of set pics have sprouted up all across the web taken from the many locations of the film’s globe-spanning shoot, Holland’s version of the web-slinger has not been spoiled yet.

He went on to explain that they filmed the scene anyway and it ended up looking great, although he suspects they’ll probably CGI out all the blood in post-production.
